The very cold weather we are enduring does not seem very springlike. However, there are definite signs in the garden.
Green shoots for one.
Evidence of foxes using the garden as a dining and play area for two.
I removed the remains of two takeaway meals yesterday, complete with plastic fork. Are our foxes learning to use cutlery? Also two gloves. What is it about gloves and socks that foxes love so much?
I’m going to write to the council again about food litter on the Walworth Road, because while it continues to be a plentiful food source, the fox population will continue to grow and thrive, albeit no doubt with underlying health problems associated with a diet of fast food. The more letters and emails they receive, the more likely they are to take notice.
